Thank you for listening to our new podcast, Chats of Mercy – a 5-minute chat using the words of St. Faustina from her Diary to bring you encouragement, hope, and light so that you can see His merciful love for your life and be inspired to spread the message of MERCY to others.

Episode 31: Words of wisdom from a Saint to encourage to us to live out this wellness life!

In this episode, in honor of St. Pope John Paul II, the Polish saint that canonized Faustina and brought forth Divine Mercy Sunday, we will use some of the quotes as another source of inspiration for the journey of holiness through wellness.

Pope John Paul II Quotes –

  • Become who you are.
  • The future starts today, not tomorrow.
  • An excuse is worse and more terrible than a lie, for an excuse is a lie guarded.
  • Do not be afraid. Do not be satisfied with mediocrity. Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.

Episode 30: Small Imperfections brings humility.

Thank you for listening to our podcast, Chats of Mercy – a 5-minute chat using the words of St. Faustina from her Diary to bring you encouragement, hope, and light so that you can see His merciful love for your life and be inspired to spread the message of MERCY to others.

In this episode, Faustina falls again into a certain error, despite a sincere resolution not to do so, yet goes to Him to give her the strength to get back up. This act brings more grace than God. See her humbleness. We can also do the same, and we encourage in this journey of holiness through wellness.

“If it hadn’t been for this small imperfection, you wouldn’t have come to Me. Know that as often as you come to Me, humbling yourself and asking My forgiveness, I pour out a superabundance of graces on your soul, and your imperfection vanishes before My eyes. I see only your love and your humility. You lose nothing but gain much”. St. Faustina ( Diary  1293)

Episode 29: Seeing God in everything, even in the sufferings.

In this episode, I share how words can bring healing and hope as we mourn the loss of our unborn children on this day of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. How having wellness and the right mindset can help bring on healing and hope.

“A noble and delicate soul, even the most simple, but one of the delicate sensibilities, sees God in everything, finds Him everywhere, and knows how to find Him in even the most hidden things. It finds all things important, it highly appreciates all things, it thanks God for all things, it draws profit for the soul from all things.” St. Faustina ( Diary 148)

Episode 28: Fear nothing using a Godly affirmation to get you through.

In this episode Faustina is giving us such encouragement to fear nothing, have no doubt that we can still be great saints for we are alive! It is in the small ways that we grow into that greatness we are called to be.

“In spite of my great misery, I fear nothing but hope to sing You a hymn of glory forever. Let no soul, even the most miserable, fall prey to doubt; for, as long as one is alive, each one can become a great saint, so great is the power of God’s grace. It remains only for us not to oppose God’s action. – St. Faustina (Diary  283)

Episode 27: Happy Feast Day! Love God!

This episode is all about St.Faustina’s feast day this emotional quote about letting the world is to LOVE God through our lives. Today we started the Fiat Challenge, these women are Loving God!

“My Jesus, You know that from my earliest years I have wanted to become a great saint; that is to say, I have wanted to love You with a love so great that there would be no soul who has hitherto loved You so. At first, these desires of mine were kept secret. Today I cannot contain them within my heart; I would like to cry out to the whole world, “Love God, because He is good and great is His mercy!”.”– St. Faustina (Diary  1372)

Episode 26: Do all you do with love, Sister Saints.

This episode Faustina shows us how she invokes the prayers and love of St. Therese to trust in Jesus and do all things no matter how small with love, a love for others, a love for ourselves.

The teachings of St. Therese’s Little Way and St. Faustina’s Trust in Jesus influences our challenge, The Fiat Challenge.

“But, little Therese, shall I be a saint as you are, raised to the altar?” And she answered, “Yes, you will be a saint just as I am, but you must trust in the Lord Jesus.”– St. Faustina (Diary  150)

Episode 25: Standing after Any Storms.

This episode Faustina reminds us that this beautiful work of our vocation will face storms against it but that if we are strong in our wellness of body, mind, and soul we will stay standing against any storm.

I know well that the greater and more beautiful the work is, the more terrible will be the storms that rage against it.  St. Faustina (Diary 1401)

Episode 24 : You are a dwelling place, the temple of God.

This episode Faustina’s beautiful prayer after Holy Communion reminds us that you and I are a dwelling place of the Holy Trinity, that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Having a mindset shift to this is key to this journey of holiness in wellness.

“Once after Holy Communion, I heard these words, “You are Our dwelling place”. At that moment, I felt in my soul the presence of the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I felt that I was the temple of God. I felt I was a child of the Father. O Infinite Goodness, how low You stoop to Your miserable creature!” (Diary 451)

Episode 23 : Do nothing on your own!

This episode Jesus is full of beautiful encouragement to entrust Him, and do nothing on our own, nothing upset us, and stop making excuses for ourselves.

“Entrust everything to Me and do nothing on your own, and you will always have great freedom of spirit. No circumstances or events will ever be able to upset you. Set little store on what people say. Let everyone judge you as they like. Do not make excuses for yourself, it will do you no harm.” (Diary, 1685).

Episode 22 : Love does not consist in words or feelings, but in deeds.

This episode Faustina is encouraging us to self-denial and having love in our actions so that it will help us to bring God’s graces into our lives.

Check out our fundraiser for Ladies Love Life Project —  Cycle of Love.

” The Lord God grants His graces in two ways: by inspiration and by enlightenment. If we ask God for grace, He will give it to us; but let us be willing to accept it. And in order to accept it, self-denial is needed. Love does not consist in words or feelings, but in deeds. It is an act of the will; it is a gift; that is to say, a giving.”
